Georg Brauchle Ring in Munich is lined by a series of significant and important buildings (BMW Headquarters, Olympic Grounds, etc). Together they have sufficient power to exert a positive influence on their surroundings. They offer an ordering and shaping power and provide orientation points. The analysis of the site and the zoning regulations led to a scheme consisting of two volumes inclined towards each other that offer a chance to achieve high density with minimum amounts of sealed ground and shadow. The space in-between is visually incorporated in the constellation. A significant unity is created that can assert itself among the existing important buildings and thus contributes a positive influence to urban development.
