The conference center C2 is an urban infill project. The principal constraints are the curve of buildings A and B of the VIC and the orthogonal street grid. These clear guidelines define the building's urban form. The new building helps to define Aristide de Sousa Mendes promenade. The design of the outdoor space in the south of this area will help to integrate the new conference center, making it a part of the whole.
