Within the exciting urban design project Kabelwerk an apartment building will be erected for "car-free living". The unusual zoning in the development plan allows an unusual form – the stacking and staggering of maisonette types produces a terrace house type whose facades have maximum exposure to the sun. Two-storey terraces become rooms by being protected from the sun and the elements. Towards the square a striking facade will be erected with a semi-public zone in front of it.
