The spine of this project follows the two most prominent visual axes in the landscape. The topology of the site is an important element of the design and weaves the object together with the place. Private rooms line the "way", without blocking the view. Where necessary they can be opened onto a connecting living room thus allowing living space to be combined in a variety of different ways.  The functions develop on three levels, in the process new ones are discovered. The house is not "in the way" but forms it.
