If the client desires a large, single-story house, but in fact owns an extremely steeply sloping site then one can either say this project is impossible, or else one has to arrive at an unusual solution. The Ivaci Residence is a structure that resembles half a bridge projecting far out of the site; the elevator is in a pier that supports it. Eating, swimming and waking-up, in and above the treetops; the theme is the enjoyment of nature.
